Dr Hayley Blain (Chiropractor)
Chiropractic is something Dr Hayley can’t imagine a life without. Her journey began when she received her first chiropractic adjustment just days after being born, as her mother, grandmother, and aunt all worked as chiropractic assistants for the same chiropractor. Now, after adjusting Dr. Hayley's own children as babies, that chiropractor can proudly say he’s treated four generations of her family.
Dr Hayley remembers seeing the chiro throughout her childhood for almost any problem, but it wasn’t until a passing remark from her mum at 16 “Hayley you’d be good at this” that she seriously considered if it might be a good career for her. Two years later she moved to Melbourne to study to be a chiro. In 2015 Dr Hayley graduated from RMIT with her bachelor’s in health science and master’s in clinical chiropractic both with distinction.
Dr Hayley loves seeing people of all ages, she enjoys looking after the whole family. She studied chiropractic paediatrics while pregnant with her first child and has since developed her skill and interest in looking after babies, kids and pregnant mums.
“It is such a privilege for people to put their health and their family’s health in my hands and I love having a positive impact on someone’s wellbeing”
Since graduating Dr Hayley has worked in Townsville and at the Gold Coast before moving home to north Brisbane after having her 2nd child. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, baby Josie and 2-year-old Owen. They love the outdoors - picnics, hiking and beach days are their favourites, the whole family being are water babies. Dr Hayley even had a short time competitive swimming.
